When hats make me smile

As someone who struggles with foreign languages, I'm both envious of and impressed by polyglots. Because English is a particularly nuanced language, interacting with non-native speakers who are both conversational and have a command of idioms is even more impressive. However, the way some non-native speakers adopt English may lead to some of its most creative and amusing uses. (I suspect my foreign language skills result in equally creative uses of those languages). Here are some excellent examples that I have found in my travels.

I bought one hat on my recent trip, but regret not getting several of these fun examples.
