Temple of the Emerald Buddha

Here are some photos of my visit to the world's longest painting - the Ramayana Paintings - at the Grand Palace, Bangkok.

I was fortunate to have a short day-time layover in Bangkok, while en-route to Sydney, Australia. It turned out to be a bit more rushed than I would have preferred, but the Grand Palace's Ramayana Paintings were worth the hand-to-hand combat to get through the throngs of tourists. I've posted a few of the photos, although nothing compares to witnessing this extraordinary painting that meanders like a river through the middle of the Golden Temple (661 Charoen Krung Rd, Talat Noi, Samphanthawong). (All photos, such as they are, were taken by me; all copyrights are reserved).
